Patient safety

MRI safetyDue to the strength of the magnetic field there are some people who may NOT be suitable for a 3T MRI.  This is because the presence of metal or foreign bodies, however small, could compromise the safety of the patient.

Even if your patient has had a conventional MRI in the past it is vital to ensure they can be safely imaged at 3T.  Click here to see the SAFETY QUESTIONNAIRE that will need to be completed prior to 3T examination.

If your patient has, or think they might have, any of the contra-indications specified, please let us know at the time of booking.
