Neuro - tumour - 31 year old female
- Low grade left temporal glioma with high T2 signal, low T1 signal and no contrast enhancement
- Axial Tractography shows a normal distribution of coloured cerebral tracts in the right hemisphere
- On the left the tumour shows an absence of normal tracts which has a bearing on any decision regarding surgical excision of the tumour
Neuro - epilepsy - 23 year old female
- Patient has temporal lobe epilepsy
- Two previous high quality 1.5 Tesla MRI scans done elsewhere were reported as normal
- The coronal T2 flair image demonstrates increased signal and loss of volume in the left hippocampus, typical of mesial temporal sclerosis.
