Declan Cahill undertook a fellowship in Paris at Institute Montsouris where he learnt the complex laparoscopic skills needed to perform laparoscopic radical prostatectomy and nephrectomy. He has undertaken specialist training on the da Vinci surgical system to perform robotic-assisted surgery. He also has experience in high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for prostate cancer using the Ablatherm system. |
